A Doncaster based company whose strapline is ‘Protecting Doors, People and Places’ has taken the ethos one step further with a bumper year fundraising for local and national charities designed to support the most vulnerable in our communities.

Intastop Ltd has always been a supporter of charities but, as the company celebrated 25 years in business it adopted a number of national awareness days alongside it’s larger campaigns raising hundreds of pounds so far in 2017.

“We have always been supporters of charitable events and, in the past have taken part in everything from Dragon Boat Racing to tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for a number of charitable organisations,” said Marie Hanby Marketing Manager Intastop Ltd. “As we celebrated a company milestone we also wanted to make our fundraising a milestone event and are pleased to report that we have exceeded all other amounts raised which is tantamount to the efforts of all our staff.”

During the year the Intastop team has supported Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids, Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness and raised over £100 for Children in Need and at its 25th birthday celebrations raised an additional £200 for Cash for Kids and Doncaster St Leger Rotary Club.

“We believe that it is important to give a little bit back to those less fortunate than ourselves and to have fun whilst we are doing it,” said Marie. “Our bake sales and events are great for team building and promoting a positive atmosphere in the workplace and we are proud that many of our customers and suppliers also choose to support our events too.”

As the year drawers to a close the team will donate £1,000 to Hallam FM’s Christmas appeal, participate in Christmas Jumper Day and have its annual Christmas Raffle to win an amazing hamper packed with Christmas treats. Staff will also be donating their time to help sort donations and presents at Hallam FM.

Marie concluded; “We hope to be able to exceed last year’s total of just over £2,500 and send our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported us in making a difference to all these charities.”
