Training has been at the very heart of Intastop’s operations for many years

playing a significant part in the growth and success of our business!

 

We recognise that skilled and knowledgeable staff are critical to our success and we have a number of training and development strategies that create opportunities available to both new and existing members of the team.

Apprenticeships continue to be a significant part of our business and the growth of our team. Opportunities have been available for production operatives, finance and administration and we currently have three apprentices.

The external sales team all had sales training with Mercuri International last year to ensure their sales and interpersonal skills, as well as modern sales strategies were in line with the company vision.

We are also proud to ensure our senior staff receive the training and qualifications they desire or need to support their everyday role either through upskilling or consolidation of knowledge. One example is that our Finance Manager is currently doing ACCA qualifications.

We have embraced the City and Guilds scheme which has provided us with several opportunities to develop our staff at all levels. More latterly our team have undergone training on digital conferencing systems which has meant they are able to continue communicating with each other and with customers.  This has progressed further into offering webinars, something that last year, our staff would not have been comfortable delivering. In addition, 8 members of the team have now completed their City and Guilds Leadership and Management course and achieved accreditation. Many of the methodologies and theories that were discussed have been proactively introduced to further improve our procedures and processes.
