The Project Brief
Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital; The Chesterfield – commissioned wall protection from manufacturer Intastop Ltd after its walls in theatre corridors and waiting areas were suffering from high levels of unsightly and unhygienic impact damage.
The Solution
Intastop Impact Protection Sheet is not only suitable for walls, but also doors and cupboards, is Class ‘O’ fire rated and tested to BS476:Parts 6 & 7 giving Facility Managers complete peace of mind. Standard thickness is 2mm although other thicknesses are available as is a range of colour options, edges can be chamfered and a ‘H’ joint trim can be utilised to ease installation. Furthermore sheets can be cut onsite or can be ordered pre-cut to size to fulfil bespoke requirements.
Typically Impact Protection Sheet is used in areas of heavy traffic, as bed and chair rails and areas where easy cleaning is essential.
The newly established private hospital is reaping the benefits of additional investment in its infrastructure with the retro-fit of Impact Protection Sheet to key areas within the building.
