Overview

Double Swing Hinges provide an alternative to pivot floor springs.

Combining the Intastop Double Swing Continuous Geared Hinge and the Dorma ITS 96 closer this unique package provides an ideal alternative to pivot floor springs.

This package is ideal for doors which are required to swing 90° in both directions (180°) and eliminates the possibility of pivot door splitting on impact.  

It provides an ideal solution for busy corridor doors which are exposed to impact damage and toilet/shower room doors where there is a risk of barricade or patients collapsing in the room.

For improved acoustic performance a full mortice automatic door bottom is available to suit the double swing hinge, see “you may also be interested in” opposite.

A Heavy Duty Double Swing Hinge is available for high impact areas and heavy doors up to 160kg and has been tested to severe duty rating DD171 and performance tested to European Standard EN1935.
