A full length continuous geared hinge with anti-ligature tip for improved safety.
The Intastop full length Continuous Geared Hinge has a special anti-ligature tip and a number of design features that improve safety, making it ideal for use in a wide variety of situations in healthcare, psychiatric and secure accommodation environments where self harm is a risk.
With effective door weight distribution and special low friction bearings that help eliminate the use of force to open heavy doors up to 245kg, the Intastop hinges are suitable for new and upgrading existing door sets and can be combined with the frame to offer a removable stop to help eliminate barricade situations.
