Leading manufacturer of protective door and wall products, Intastop Ltd, has launched a new vision panel range that provides more visibility than current alternative products on the market.
The new range from Intastop offers superior performance and greater vision particularly for requirements within the healthcare sector.
Available in two standard sizes, rectangular 800 x 250mm or square 400 x 400mm, the new vision panel benefits from reduced depth to the etching allowing greater visibility when open yet still providing total privacy once closed. Additional to this is its unique operational design, which has a patent pending. The lever to operate the blind is now incorporated into the surround which means there is no weak spot within the glass.
Intastop’s marketing director, Sarah Barsby commented: “Through customer feedback and product development we discovered a requirement in the market for a better performing vision panel. By placing the operating mechanism within the surround we have now eliminated any weakness within the glass which is crucial to providing a safe and secure environment for patients and hospital staff.”
Intastop’s vision panels benefit from having a single or dual lever operation, a lockable key operation or particularly suited to mental healthcare units an anti-ligature knob, which gives greater choice dependent upon the room’s usage.
Its aesthetic features include two etching styles and a variety of etching colours alternatively branding or a logo can be used. To install the panels to a high finish beading is also available in a variety of options from hardwood to PVC cladding in an assortment of colours. The range includes two sizes although bespoke or larger panels can be provided.
Intastop (as the exclusive supplier) are also pleased to launch Intaview’s revolutionary patented design of integral blind panels, which offers 60 per cent visibility. They are available in any size or as a standard 825 x 250mm or 450 x 400mm for door size panels, and a 1700 x 500mm side screen. These panels benefit from a unique blind system that sits between the panes of a standard double-glazed unit.
This innovative, yet simple, system works by a patented twin film concept. With one static set of stripes etched on one of the glass panes, and a set of rotating stripes on a continuous film positioned over compact rollers. Rotation of the top drive roller causes the non-fixed film to move the strands in opposite directions providing a range of visibility options. Additional benefits of this system over current systems available on the market include the very close spacing of the films within a 2mm area ensuring maximum vision at very close angles of view.
Sarah continued: “By incorporating the latest technologies we feel our customers are benefitting from unrivalled and quality products that are essential to ensure a longevity which in turn maximises budget spenditure. We pride ourselves on providing the most cost effective solutions for any retrofit or refurbishment project.”
